The Titanium USA Deadlift Barbell is in a class of it's own. Engineered to exacting IPF specifications to ensure it's suitable for professional powerlifters and individuals looking to crush their PB's at home or in the gym.

The shaft on the bar is an thinner (27mm diameter) than standard Olympic Barbells and 100mm longer (230cm) to assist in dispersing heavy loads over a larger surface area of the bar. The knurling used on the bar is an incredible, deep cut aggressive knurling providing maximum grip for users. The shaft is coated in a premium grade Zinc Oxide finish and the sleeves are coated with ultra hard wearing Hard Chrome to prevent the sleeves rusting over time.

All in all this bar is an absolute beast and dream to lift with.

The sleeves are also fitted with stainless steel bushings and premium snap rings to ensure the sleeves never lock up or fail under heavy loads and provide just the right amount of spin for the plates during heavy lifts.

When choosing your barbell it is important to understand what the different terminology means, as there is often a lot of industry jargon that manufacturers and re-sellers use.

Bar strengths are reported in three areas: tensile strength, yield strength, and the PSI rating.

Tensile strength is the maximum load the barbell can support without fracturing, breaking or bending to the point where it’s unable to return back to the original shape. So a higher tensile strength generally means the bar can tolerate heavier loads and is able to handle repeated drops during training or competitions.

Yield strength is basically how much weight the bar can handle before it will become deformed - that is, it won’t return to perfect straightness. This is generally listed as it Maximum Load rating.

Now you know some of the terminology, it is important to look for a bar with a PSI rating of 150,000 or more and a minimum of 700lb weight capacity.
