The Titanium USA Elite Series Safety Squat Bar lets you squat heavy without the strain on your shoulders, elbows and wrists that a straight bar can cause. The forward-facing handles let you hold the bar in front of you, so lifters with tight shoulders or limited mobility can still train squats properly.
The bar sits high on the traps and moves the load slightly forward, much like a front squat. This keeps you more upright, improves your posture and takes pressure off your lower back. Swapping one squat session a week to the safety squat bar is a smart way to keep your numbers moving while giving your upper body a break.
What sets the Elite Series apart is the padding. Instead of three separate pads, it has one extra-large pad that wraps the neck and both shoulders, all joined together at the back. Because it is a single connected pad, it can't rotate or slip under load the way separate pads often do, so the bar stays locked in place from your first rep to your last.
The 50mm hard chrome plated sleeves take any Olympic plate, so it suits home gyms and commercial facilities alike.
